Anil Kapoor responds to daughter Sonam's wedding date rumours

Anil Kapoor has been very tight-lipped about his daughter Sonam Kapoor's wedding with boyfriend Anand Ahuja.

While he has tried avoiding the media and failed to confirm any reports suggesting an alleged wedding next month, he recently stated that everyone will be informed about everything “very soon,” reported The Indian Express.

Anil’s comments came days after Sonam confirmed that the details will be released “all in good time.”

Rumours regarding a May wedding emerged on the internet in March and have since made rounds. Fuel was added to the fire when details regarding the redecoration of the Kapoor house came out.

The veteran actor attended the 19th International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) this weekend where he was asked about the wedding. Anil stated, "The media has always been with me and my family when we began our careers. We will share everything at the right time.”

He continued, “Very soon you all will know. We won’t hide these details. You will know why there is lighting outside the house,” he said.

At the event, the actor also spoke about his upcoming film with Salman Khan. “Salman is producing Race 3 with Ramesh Taurani. So, both are experienced producers. Salman has done things whole-heartedly. When you will watch it, you will realise. We have made a very entertaining film.”

Anil and Salman last worked together in hit film No Entry. On reuniting with Salman after 13 years the former said that being on set with the Tiger Zinda Hai star never feels like work because he is so much fun. “I have done many films with Salman and people like those films. When I work with Salman, it doesn’t feel like I am working. We have so much fun on set so, it’s very entertaining working with him.”

Race 3, also starring Jacqueline Fernandez and Bobby Deol, will release this Eidul Fitr.
