SWAT: Security forces arrested Alam Zaib, the grandson of Sher Ali, from Kabal, Swat on charges of providing material support to Pakistani Taliban.
Sher Ali was arrested in Florida on Saturday for supporting Pakistani Taliban.
Locals say madrassahs and mosques in the area were not under the influence of the Taliban or advocates of extremism.
Alam Zaib was a first year student in a local college and has never been to America.
Sources say the US has charged Zaib, his mother Amna and his uncle Ali Rehman of providing material support to the Pakistani Taliban.
US security agencies arrested six suspects in Florida on Saturday on charges of providing material support to Pakistani Taliban. Three of those arrested carried Pakistani nationality including Sher Ali.
