A disc jockey hired at a wedding in Delhi was shot for refusing to play music on Thursday.

According to the police, the DJ was playing at a wedding in southwestern Delhi and was shot after he refused to play music after the scheduled time.

A senior police officer reported that four men and a woman have been arrested in the case.

The 19-year-old DJ, Bobby Singh, had reportedly refused to continue playing music at the event later in the night. It was then that the suspects pressurised him to continue playing and shot him after he refused, two suspects shot at him.

Accused 'Golden State Killer' charged with two counts of murder

The injured DJ was given first-aid treatment and discharged from the hospital. A case of 'attempt to murder' was registered against the accused.
