PESHAWAR: In light of orders issued by the apex court, the provincial police force has decided that no commando from elite force nor a regular policeman would be deployed as a guard for any private person in the province.

Moreover, in the event police guards have to be provided, they would be provided from the Frontier Reserve Police (FRP) platoon.

The decision was made at the end of a two-day high-level meeting at the Central Police Office (CPO).
