‘Accountability for all’: No shortcut to success: NAB chairman‘

Stresses that these characteristics are mandatory for eradication of corruption

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal, that there is no shortcut to success besides honesty, integrity, hard work, dedication, commitment and professionalism.

NAB chairman rejects impression about hindering national development

He stressed that these characteristics are mandatory for eradication of corruption. He said corruption is a cancer and silent killer. NAB is absolutely committed to root out corruption in all its forms and manifestations with iron hands. He said that NAB has devised an effective and proactive anti-corruption strategy in order to arrest corrupt and bring them to justice. He directed NAB officers to continue their hard work absolutely professionally, transparently as per law.

He said that NAB believes in “Accountability for All” policy across the board to eradicate corruption from the country. He said that NAB has devised effective monitoring and evaluation System in order to rack implementation and outputs systematically and to measure effectiveness of performance in enhancing the operational, monitoring and evaluation capabilities of NAB.
