ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi invited investors from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to focus on investments in power, oil and gas, telecom and financial services sectors in Pakistan, saying the country offered good returns. Talking to UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi at his office, the prime minister expressed satisfaction over the increasing trade volume between Pakistan and the UAE. He underscored the importance Pakistan accorded to the UAE and said a significant number of expatriate Pakistanis were playing a vital role in the development of the emirate and serving as a bridge between the brotherly countries. He appreciated UAE’s development and humanitarian assistance to Pakistan, particularly for far flung areas. This cooperation was a manifestation of the strong bond between the two countries, he added.
