Starring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania and Kareena Kapoor Khan, the film will mark the latter's comeback to the silver screen after giving birth to Taimur Ali Khan.

The trailer shows four friends, each in different stages of relationships in their lives. From what it looks like, the girls plan a bachelorette trip before Kareena's character gets married.

Taking hints from The Hangover and Bad Moms, Veere Di Wedding brings together a lot of fun and drama to the screen. The film picks some of the best actors of the industry but fails to leave a mark of its own. But the two Kapoors joining forces might just not work in favour of Veere Di Wedding.

While one friend doesn't quite have the happening married life she was expecting, the other is seeking a divorce. Sonam is looking for a suitable boy for marriage as Kareena is busy with her wedding preparations, which also forces her to do things she doesn't want to.

Shedding light on the concept of lavish weddings and new and old relationships, the film aims to take the audience on a journey that's sure to make you feel that a girl's life is never easy. (Casual sexism intended)

The romcom, chick flick hybrid might just make you laugh and shed a few tears. However, from what the trailer shows, Veere Di Wedding won't be able to set a benchmark like Hollywood's Mean Girls did. The film is set to hit screens on June 1.
