Women delegation on a 12 day visit to explore business opportunities

ISLAMABAD: A women delegation is on a 12-day visit to China to explore business opportunities in various sectors. The nine-member delegation of Islamabad Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) is being led by its president Samina Fazil. “We are interested in attending Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the 123rd session of China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair,” said Fazil. These phases will show daily consumer goods, gifts and home decoration products, textile and garment, shoes, cases and bags, recreation products, medicine and healthcare products and food. She said that they want to see how the Chinese economy is shifting from high-speed to quality development.
