QUETTA: At least four Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) personnel lost their lives and 46 were injured on Monday after their FTR vehicle turned turtle in Kohlu.
According to details, the troops were headed to Kohlu on Tambur cross when their FTR vehicle, carrying dozens of FC personnel, turned turtle due to speeding.
“At least four FC soldiers died and more than 46 sustained injuries in the accident,” confirmed security sources.
Rescue workers and other law enforcement agencies rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and the injured to District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital for treatment.
The district administration had imposed emergency at the hospital, but due to lack of staff, the injured faced immense difficulties while receiving treatment.
