CM vows to thwart anti-state conspiracies

Says sacrifices rendered by security personnel for peace cannot be denied

Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has said that security forces, including the Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) and police, are playing vital role in restoration of peace in the province and have rendered great sacrifices for this cause.

“Sacrifices rendered by security personnel for the restoration of peace in the province cannot be denied,” said CM Bizenjo while addressing a ceremony of Excellency Award 2018 organised by the Balochistan FC on Thursday.

Federal Minister Postal Services Maulana Amir Zaman, Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Saleem Bajwa, Balochistan Assembly Speaker Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani, provincial ministers, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Sarfraz Bugti, Tahir Mehmood, Changez Khan Marri, Adviser to Balochistan CM Zia Lango, Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Engineer Zamark Khan,  MPA Khalil Jorge, Captain (retd) Abdul Khaliq, Balochistan Inspector General of Police Mauzzam Jah Ansari, IG FC Major General Nadeem Anjum, IG Prisons Malik Shujah Kasi, officials, tribal elders and a large number of people were present on the occasion.

The Balochistan CM said, "Some people are hatching conspiracies against Balochistan and are trying to destabilise its peace.”


He urged those people to avoid such activities.

Bizenjo also paid glowing tributes to security forces and said that he was happy to participate in the youth ceremony.

In the past, the law and order situation had deteriorated which improved due to the hectic efforts of the security forces in Balochistan, he added.

He said, “As a Pakistani nation we can foil conspiracies through unity and we should encourage the role of security forces and youth in the province.”

At the end of the ceremony, the Balochistan chief minister, Lieutenant General Saleem Bajwa and Federal Minister Maulana Amir Zaman distributed awards among the police and FC personnel.
