Small fry: Six held for street crimes

Suspects are identified as Aizaz Gul, Arshad, Liaqat Hussain, Liaqat Khan and Sohail Khan

ISLAMABAD: Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police have arrested six suspects involved in theft as well as various street crimes, a police spokesperson said.



He said that the operation was conducted on the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations, Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi.

According to details, the police team raided the hideout of the dacoits on a tip off in sector G-13/4 near Kashmir Highway. Police teams succeeded in arresting six people and recovered two stolen motorbikes, as well as weapons, including a 30-bore pistol, a knife and other items from them.

The suspects have been identified as Aizaz Gul, Arshad, Liaqat Hussain, Liaqat Khan and Sohail Khan.
