SHABQADAR: To placate protesting lady health workers, the Mohmand Agency Political Agent on Thursday gave Rs2,000 to 46 workers. The lady health workers (LHWs) had been protesting the delays in releasing their salaries. Political Agent Wasif Saeed distributed cash amongst the LHWs at the agency headquarters hospital in Ghallanai. He added that salaries of the LHWs has been released from the concerned quarters and would soon be deposited in the accounts of the workers.
