It is admirable that the PTI has decided to take action against its lawmakers
ISLAMABAD: It is admirable that the PTI has decided to take action against its lawmakers primarily because it could have formed a majority in the Senate otherwise, the party should still be praised to own it up even at the cost of putting the party’s reputation at stake. However, given the magnitude of horse-trading prior to the polls, members from other political parties cannot be entirely steered clear for having a clean and honest conduct until proven so through a thorough investigation. Action should be taken not only against those who sold their vote but also against those who purchased and paid millions for it.
