KARACHI:
Pakistan's Mehmoosh ' The Renegade ' Raza will take on Ukraine's Igor Grytskiv in the upcoming Rebel Fighting Championship 7 in Shanghai on April 29 in the featherweight category.

The 22-year-old will be going into the fight at the back of two wins against Afghanistan's Anamullah Khan and Pakistan's Muhammad Usman in the Victory Fight Night 3 bouts, but Grytskiv will be sterner competition because of his experience with a current winning streak of seven bouts.

Mehmosh, meanwhile, has a record of six wins and one defeat, while Grytskiv has lost on only two occasions in his career.

“My opponent may have more experience than me but I have 10 times more heart,” Mehmosh said on his Facebook page. “I'll be bringing glory to Pakistan with this fight.”

On the other hand Raza's manager Muhammad Rizwan Ali said that the April 29 fight will be the toughest of Mehmosh’s career and hopefully he can knock-out Grytskiv in the first round.

“It'll be best if the decision doesn’t fall into the judges’ hands in Hong Kong,” said Rizwan.

Rizwan added that Mehmosh left for London on March 4 and then went to Malaysia to support Ahmed 'Wolverine' Mujtaba in the One Championship bout this month, and then went to China to start his training camp.

Raza is affiliated with Dragon Gym in China and fought his last fight on January 27.
