Down The Drain: 10 grenades found in abandoned bag

LAHORE: An abandoned bag with eight Kalashnikov magazines and 10 hand grenades was found in a sewage drain in Sargar in Begum Kot police post precinct on Saturday. Sewage workers found the bag as they were clearing the drain and called Rescue 15, said Sub Inspector Shafiq, who is in charge of the Begum Kot police post. He said that the hand grenades, which were covered in rust, were handed over to the Bomb Disposal Squad.
