Former legendary batsman surprises restaurant staff in Mumbai

Former Indian opening batsman Sachin Tendulkar showed he still has plenty left in the tank when he played on the streets in Mumbai.

In a video clip posted on Twitter on Tuesday, it can be seen that Tendulkar came out of a car and played with staff of a local restaurant, who were quite surprised at seeing arguably one of the best batsmen of all time opting to play a few balls.

Passing by a game of cricket while driving, @sachin_rt's friends dared him to get out and face a few balls.

The result: a few lucky ones ended up having the night of their lives playing gully cricket with the Master.

Tendulkar represented India 200 Tests, 463 ODIs and a single T20I, where he collectively scored more than 34,000 international runs, with 100 centuries and 164 fifties.

Tendulkar called off his 24-year long international career in 2013 after the series against West Indies.
