Police, Interpol nab seven absconding suspects

Punjab Police claimed on Tuesday that seven suspects wanted in connection with myriad cases had been nabbed in Dubai with Interpol assistance.

The men arrived at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-204. Five of the men hail from Lahore. The remaining two were wanted by Rahim Yar Khan and Gujrat police.



In Lahore, Fayaz Anwar and Saifullah were wanted by Hunjerwal police.

Interpol arrests notorious Abid boxer at Dubai airport





Majid Butt by Kot Lakhpat police, Tariq Javed by Harbanspura police and Hafiz Nauman by Baghbanpura.

Earlier in February, former inspector Abid boxer, on the run since 11 years in connection with extra-judicial killings, underworld links and land grabbing was arrested from Dubai. Abid was nabbed from a Dubai airport by Interpol as he reportedly returned from Malaysia.
