ECP rejects 21 delimitations objections

Only orders to readjust two provincial assembly seats

ABBOTTABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan has rejected 21 objections raised on the latest changes in the constituencies and has only ordered to readjust two provincial assembly seats.



Objections were filed by National Assembly Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Ex-deputy speaker  Sardar Yaqoob, provincial food minister Qalandar Khan Lodhi and others over NA-15 and NA-16 of Abbottabad district.

The ECP accepting the plea of member Tehsil Council Havelian Iftikhar Khan has detached UCs like Ghari Pulgran, Rajoiya and Banda Attai Khan from PK 37 to PK 38 and Union Council Salhad from PK 38 to PK 37 Abbottabad.
