Helicopters used in the Osama bin Laden operation had first landed in the Kala Dhaka area near Mansehra before proceeding for the raid, Express 24/7 reported on Saturday.
According to local sources, the helicopters had landed in a wheat fieldin the area and had stayed there for 40 minutes before proceeding to Abbottabad. The landlord of the wheat fields also confirmed the landing of the helicopters.
Other locals said that the helicopters were seen hovering above the ground before moving towards the compound.
