Shehbaz, Nisar discuss SC’s ruling

LAHORE: Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Friday met with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Mian Shehbaz Sharif.

According to reports, the two leaders discussed the situation in the aftermath of lifetime disqualification of ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s as a result of the Supreme Court’s ruling.

According to party sources, the meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s residence.

Matters related to party affairs also came under discussion and the strategy to be adopted in the upcoming general election expected in the late July.

PML-N Punjab spokesperson Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan and media office of the Chief Minister Office have however officially denied any information regarding the meeting.
