Politicians across the country reacted to the apex court's verdict. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto tweeted saying, the opposing parties have brought this upon themselves and they must face the consequences of their actions.
I am of the belief that it’s the people of Pakistan who should make such decisions about the fate of politicians. Unfortunately it is PTI & PMLN themselves who have forced the judicialization of our politics. Naehal Nawaz & Tareen must now face the consequences of their actions.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) former secretary general tweeted saying his review petition is still pending and he believes that 62 (1) (f) is not applicable in his case.
I always believed 62 1(f) to be for life but not applicable in my case.Full money trail provided of tax paid Income, property declared in assets of children and not mine on advice of tax consultant. This was the only issue. My review is still pending and IA justice will prevail

Article 62: Disqualification is for life, rules SC in historic verdict
Do keep in mind that @JahangirKTareen's revision petition is still to be heard. Big and a rightful blow to Nawaz Sharif for looting & plundering of Pakistan, the wealth that rightfully belongs to the poor. That money which is more than Rs 300B is still to be brought back https://t.co/UsRXZpnYpQ

Now is the time when the PMLN may promulgate the mischievous new NAB Ord that PTI opposed, rejected and even walked out from the review committee. As it will be done with signature of the President of Pakistan. PTI strongly discourages him from signing such a bad Ordinance https://t.co/AtoHyjvZeq

پانامہ پر ہو یا دروغ گوئی پر
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Maiza Hameed said this verdict is an easy way to subside Nawaz Sharif from contesting the elections since many are threatened by his power. She added that one cannot 'minus' Nawaz.
#YouCanNeverMinusNawaz. #NawazSharif
