A young woman hailing from the Kailash Valley consumed poison and committed suicide. However, officials say they have yet to ascertain the motive behind the act.
Rape survivor commits suicide in Chitral
According to Avens Police, 19-years old Miasmah, the daughter of Sher Bahadur Khan, had consumed poison in a bit to attempt suicide.
As her condition worsened, she was rushed to the hospital. However, she succumbed to the venomous chemical on the way.
The Aven police have registered a case under Section 174 and have launched an investigation into the case.
