Wushu And Kung Fu: 7 girls qualify for participation

KHANEWAL: Seven girls qualified for the divisional level Kung Fu contest after winning the district Wushu Kung Fu championship, 2011 in different weight categories.

The district championship final matches were held at a government primary school in Peoples Colony on Friday.

Girls Model School headmistress Zubaida Sahar and Dr Romisa Ishtiaq distributed prizes among the participants.

Nida Batool won the final match in 40-kg category, Riffat in the 42-kg category, Samar in 44-kg, Hadia Hussain in 46-kg, Zill-e-Huma in 48-kg, Sania in 50-kg and Sapna Sahar Jan in 54-kg.

These Wushu Kung Fu finalists now qualify for the division level matches in the Multan Wushu Kung Fu championship scheduled for June.
