SHC rejects bail of man in illegal allotment case

After rejection of bail, Ibrahim, was arrested by NAB officials

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) rejected the bail application for a suspect booked in a case of the illegal allotment of 36 acres of land. After rejection of the bail, the suspect, Ibrahim, was arrested by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials. A two-member bench announced on Wednesday the verdict against Ibrahim's bail application. The court rejected the application filed for interim bail and ordered Ibrahim's arrest, after which Ibrahim was taken into custody by NAB officials. According to the police, the suspect and his accomplice Latif Brohi, illegally obtained a lease for 36 acres of land after which a reference was filed against the two. Brohi is already in jail in connection with the reference.
