Produced by Xulfi and sung by none other than everyone's favourite Ali Noor, Urr Chalay features soft guitar strums and melodious drumming with the main focus being the vocals.
The visuals exude planning, prayer and a lot of persistence with the opening frame showing a doubtful Sohai staring at her reflection in the mirror.
It then goes on to portray the relationship between the two siblings, with Sohai's on-screen brother teaching her how to ride a bike and plan her route from Lahore to Khanjerab (Pak-China border).
The chorus will have you leaping with joy as it goes heavier on the vocals and shows the support Sohai receives from her friends and family before she sets off on her journey.
Lending some more beauty to Urr Chalay is the scenic landscape of the north, as Sohai rides through.
The song’s bridge is the most powerful, with the music, vocals and visuals coming into the perfect climax. Overall, Urr Chalay shows excitement, confusion, doubt, joy and a lot of determination which definitely leaves you wanting more.
Written and directed by Adnan Sarwar, Motorcycle Girl is slated to release on April 20. It is based on the true story of Zenith Irfan – the first Pakistani female to embark on a solo motorcycle trip through Pakistan’s northern areas.
