DUBAI: The $0.5 million promised by the Indian parliament member, KD Singh, have still not been given, said activist Ansar Burney in a meeting with the minister of port and shipping, Babar Ghauri, on Friday.

There are just nine days left to the new ransom deadline and the Ansar Burney Trust will have to try harder to collect the rest of the money, he said.
