According to The Verge, the trailer perfectly teases viewers about the plot of the film. Opening up with Qi'Ra played by Game of Thrones fame Emilia Clarke asks Han Solo if he's after revenge, money or something else.
Played by Alden Ehrenreich, Han is quickly recruited for a job. He says that he's a driver and has waited a long time for "a shot like this."
From what seems like a heist, Han, Qi'Ra and Tobias Beckett -portrayed by Woddy Harrelson - journey further to hire the very suave Lando Clarissian. On the other hand, Tobias informs Han that once he joins, "He is part of this life forever."
Packed with Imperial troopers and TIE Fighters, Solo promises to be full of action.
SCREENGRAB
The upcoming Star Wars installment is a lot like 2016's Star Wars: Rogue One - disconnected from the saga episodes such as The Phantom Menace and The Force Awakens.
Solo tells a self-contained story within a larger world that has already been established.
However, unlike Rogue One, which brought new characters to light, Solo brings the franchise's most iconic figures.
The film has a long way to go as fans are not convinced with the idea of a Han Solo origin story. Solo: A Star Wars Story will hit theatres on May 25, 2018.
