Patriotism takes flight in the first look of upcoming PAF drama 'Parwaaz Hai Junoon'

The film's plot revolves around real-life Pakistan Air Force success stories

The first poster for upcoming film Parwaaz Hai Junoon has finally been released.

With Hamza Ali Abbasi's look being the first to be revealed, the poster shows the actor clad in the Pakistan Air Force uniform with his head held high.

We couldn't help but notice the badge Hamza is sporting bears his real name. Could it be that the actors' characters in the film share their original names?

Directed by Haseeb Hasan, Parwaaz Hai Junoon's plot revolves around real-life Pakistan Air Force (PAF) success stories. The supporting cast of the film will include actual cadets, fighter pilots and PAF personnel.

At the film’s launch last year, Hamza stated that his scenes will be shot in a CASA Aircraft. “This is an honour for us! I am looking forward to presenting the face of PAF to the world.”

Shamoon Ali Abbasi and Janaan’s Hania Aamir are also part of the cast alongside Ahad Raza Mir, Shaz Khan, Kubra Khan and Hamza.

While both actors said it was too early to reveal more about their characters, Shamoon added, “I can’t share much information but I’m basically part of the training session. I will be training the new recruits in the film. It’s a very motivational role.”

The Janaan actor said her’s was an important role as well. Talking about the project, Hania revealed, “It’s a very patriotic film and the cast is full of young people so it’s really fun. The film is also quite women-centric so I am very happy to be a part of it.”

Parwaaz Hai Junoon is all set for release this Eidul Fitr.
