Huawei launches Y series smartphones in Pakistan

Priced at Rs 19,999, the Y7 Prime is packed with the Android Oreo software

Chinese electronic giant Huawei launched the Y series smartphones in Pakistan.

In a launch ceremony held in Lahore on Friday, the Chinese smartphone maker launched the Y7 Prime, Y6 Prime and the Y9 smartphone.

Speaking at the launch event, Blueking Wang, Manager at Huawei stated, “Our products offer unique, personalised innovations to consumers. With this aim in mind, we are introducing the HUAWEI Y Series 2018. It offers our flagship smartphone features on some amazing prices enabling everyone to enjoy the ultimate Huawei experience.”

Priced at Rs 19,999, Huawei Y7 Prime is equipped with a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual rear camera while having an 8-megapixel front camera.

The phone also boasts has a 5.99-inch FullView display with a 3000 mAh battery. In terms of storage, the Y7 Prime has an 8GB RAM with 32GB of storage.


Huawei launches P smart device in Pakistan

Huawei has made the device available in three colours - blue, black and gold.

For the Operating Software, the Y7 Prime comes loaded with the latest Android Oreo software.

The devices are set to be made available at the end of April. This development comes after Huawei launched the P20 smartphone last week in Paris.

The Pro variant of the P20 smartphone features a Leica triple camera along with advances to its core Artificial Intelligence functions
