Flattering remarks by female civil servant makes CJP blush

Please don't embarrass me, CJP replies to comments with smile

The Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar on Thursday had a peculiar encounter with a female civil servant as her flattering remarks made the top judge blush during court proceedings.

 

Government officers appeared in the top court where one of the them told Justice Nisar that "I am so lucky that this case has been an excuse to finally get to meet you".



She added that we are lucky to still have people like you in the country.

To which the top judge said that "please don't embarrass me," with a smile.

The incident occurred during a hearing of the dual nationality case presided over by Justice Nisar in which director general Federal Bureau of Investigation (FIA) Bashir Memon shared a report in which 152 government officers had not declared their dual nationality.
