Murder Convictions: 2 get death, 1 life imprisonment

(AD&SJ) Jazila Aslam convicted two murder accused on Wednesday.

KASUR: The additional district and session judge (AD&SJ) Jazila Aslam convicted two murder accused on Wednesday and sentenced both men to death in a murder and robbery case. According to police officials, the incident took place in the Saddar Police station precincts 18 months ago and accused Imran and Tariq killed Siddique Akbar when he offered resistance during a robbery bid.  In another case, AD&SJ Jawadul Hassan sentenced M Aslam for life with an additional ten year sentence. Aslam’s sentence will be extended if he is unable to pay a fine of  Rs250,000 for killing Amanat  Ali and injuring Muhammad Ali during a property dispute in 2009.
