The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday dismissed a petition pertaining to the disqualification of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to Express News, the court dismissed the case terming it unmaintainable.
According to the applicant’s stance, CM Shehbaz Sharif should not be allowed to keep hold public offices simultaneously.
The chief minister is also the associated chairperson of Mass Transit Authority.
The petitioner argued that Shehbaz had violated the oath taken by him, and should be disqualified under Article 62 and 63.
