A man was allegedly stabbed in the back and instead of calling the police, he rather opted to have one last drink at the pub.

According to the Queensland Police Service (QPS) spokesperson, two men started fighting that began at the Beerwah Hotel and moved out on the road, where a 20-year-old man stabbed another with a knife.

The QPS spokesperson said that two men were eventually kicked out of the pub for fighting.

However, the victim decided to go back to the pub and kept drinking, while the knife stood still in his back.

Police spokesperson said that the two men knew each other previously. She said a “substantial” amount of alcohol was involved while no charges have been laid.
