Former prime minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz said on Sunday that decision taken for vengeance will not be accepted.

Addressing a public rally in Swat, Maryam said that institutions only pressurised them but were not working to get former president Pervez Musharraf back.

She further said that during Musharraf and Asif Ali Zardari’s government Swat was only known for terrorism.

“But we have managed to curb terrorism under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif,” she stated adding that this was the PML-N’s Pakistan.

Heaping scorn at the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government, Maryam asked where was the provincial government when the people had to face floods and dengue.

She also questioned the Senate elections saying the results made a mockery of democracy.

PML-N will win from K-P

Addressing the rally, Nawaz Sharif claimed that seeing the poor performance of the provincial government Khyber-Pakhtunkwa will support Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in the upcoming elections.

Taking a jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief, Nawaz alleged that Imran Khan had embezzled money in the tree planation campaign.

“They should take lesson from the development in Punjab during the past five years but unfortunately Imran Khan spent his entire tenure in sit-ins and hurling accusations at others,” he said addressing a public rally in Swat .

He further added that the PML-N government curbed terrorism and ended load shedding in the country.

“Malala returned to Swat proving that peace has been restored in the region,” he said adding that instead of helping the PML-N government, PTI spent the tenure only creating hurdles for the government.
