MQM hosts referendum on Abbottabad operation

Thousands participate in referendum at Nine Zero.

KARACHI: Thousands of citizens and party members took part in a public referendum organised by MQM in Karachi over the current situation of Pakistan after the Abbottabad operation.

Ballot boxes were placed at the MQM Centre Nine Zero and a form comprised of 17 questions was handed out.

Member of the MQM coordination committee and provincial minister Raza Haroon told the media that the referendum is underway in Lahore and Islamabad as well, with millions participating.

The objective of the referendum was to publically discuss the security of the country. The party implied that it will continue to play it's role on issues affecting the country.

Azeem | 12 years ago | Reply Well, I hope our nation will get united and will start listen voice of common man.good effort by MQM and i think every Pakistani should come forward and answer these question as i read them and found them a calculator of our self accountability. I hope millions of Pakistani will come forward and will take part in this referendum.
