HYDERABABD: A 13-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped and raped by two men in Sehwan, Jamshoro. The boy was thrown unconscious outside his residence in Karampur village near Sehwan Thursday evening, a day after being kidnapped.
His father told the police and media that the two persons who left his child near their residence have been identified. He said the family went to the police station and requested to register an FIR but the police referred them to the hospital to obtain a medical report of the alleged rape.
Sehwan police station SHO Khair Muhammad Mallah told the local media that an FIR will be registered if the medical report established rape. The police have yet to arrest the two suspects identified by the family.
Meanwhile, in Hyderabad’s rural area, the parents of a five-year-old girl, who was allegedly raped, killed and buried in the Husri area over three weeks ago, complained of delay in the arrest of the culprits.
The girl’s parents told the local media that Hyderabad police requested them not to resort to protests, while assuring immediate arrest of the suspects.
