Right-hander praises country’s passion for the game after uploading video on Twitter

Former West Indies batsman Daren Ganga was seen playing cricket on the streets of Karachi in a recently published video on his twitter account.
Ganga, who played 48 Tests for West Indies, was seen driving and edging a tennis ball near Garden West's Azeem Plaza in Karachi, where bikers kept disturbing play while an audience cheered and clapped for him.
Ganga wrote in his tweet that it was a “such a joy to play street cricket in Garden West, Azeem Plaza, Karachi... Pakistan’s cricket is strong & the passion for the game incomparable. WI v PAK T20s soon!!”
Pakistan is famous for unearthing raw talent who are the derivatives of street cricket in the country.
Tthe country face has been facing security issues ever since the 2009 attack on the Sri Lanka team bus, but in the past three years, through the Pakistan Cricket Board’s efforts, some international cricket has come to Pakistan.
Zimbabwe’s tour in 2015 started the process, which was followed by tours by international players for the PSL2 final and the PSL3 playoffs and final.
A World XI, led by South African Faf du Plessis, also visited the country to help bring back international cricket to Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan team also played a T20I in Lahore to send out a strong message that Pakistan is now safe for cricket.
West Indies will now be visiting Pakistan to play three T20Is in Karachi, which hosted the landmark final of the PSL3 on March 25.
