Chinese ambassador visits PM's adviser on aviation to discusses business opportunities

China has agreed to cooperate with Pakistan in the aviation sector particularly for the betterment of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). The consensus on the collaboration was reached at a meeting between Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing and Adviser to Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan during a meeting in Islamabad. It was decided to extend cooperation for the development of airport projects and enhancement of air travel facilities in view of phenomenal growth of business opportunities between the two countries. Both sides also discussed technical cooperation in the field of aviation particularly development of new maintenance, repair and overhaul facility to provide aircraft maintenance and engineering services to Pakistani and regional airlines.
