Woman arrested for beating husband who forgot their wedding anniversary

She had to spend a day in the Pasco County jail in Florida for the violent attack on her husband

A woman was arrested after she attacked her husband for forgetting their wedding anniversary in Florida earlier this week.

According to police, 35-year-old Carol Stone was arrested on Wednesday after a dispute with her husband turned violent, the local media reported.

Ronnie Alexander, 41, told police that her wife initiated an argument with him in the morning and resumed when he returned home from work despite bringing a rose for her.

“I also planned to rent a hotel room for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary,” he added.



Police said that Stone hit Alexander multiple times, leaving him with scratches on his neck and chest. She also pushed her husband to the ground in front of their three-month-old son and Stone’s young daughter.

A video, Alexander recorded during the fight on his mobile phone, shows Stone hitting him multiple times on his head and face. Alexander can be heard saying “stop hitting me” repeatedly in the video, according to the cops.

Stone had to spend a day in the Pasco County jail for the violent attack on her husband. Later, a judge barred her from making any contact with Alexander while the criminal trial is pending.
