KARACHI: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) has announced an indefinite boycott of all OPDs if its demands are not met within seven days.

From May 18, the YDA will boycott work but emergencies and operation theatres will remain open. For its part, the government said the finance minister will discuss the recommendations that include a salary increase for house officers and postgraduates with the other provinces. Doctors have also asked for more security.
