If there was ever any Pakistani celebrity suitable for a desi version of Keeping Up with The Kardashians, it just has to be Amir Khan.

The Pakistani-British boxer, along with his fashion icon wife Faryal Makhdoom, has provided more than enough family drama for all of us to feed our inner gossip-mongers on for years. With almost divorces and reconciliations, claims of domestic abuse and altercations between Amir, Faryal and his parents, the Khan family has had all of us wondering when they will announce they are launching their own reality TV show.

Well, looks like the wait is finally over. Rumour has it that the sports superstar and his wife are in talks for one!

The couples' drama has now caught the eye of a British entertainment channel which has reportedly approached them for their own reality series. Speaking to The Sun, a source said, "ITV bosses think Amir would make more great telly if he did a fly-on-the-wall series with them."

It is said that the series will follow the pair, who wed in 2013, as they try to get their relationship back on track following their public war of words and claims of infidelity.

"Amir is a character and they think viewers would be very interested in seeing how he is with Faryal and their daughter behind closed doors," the source further added.

Amir recently took part in the famous reality show I Am a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, which helped him garner unsolicited fame. The couple shocked the world last year when the 31-year-old declared he’s opting for a divorce.

After quite a few contradicting statements from the boxer and Faryal, the couple eventually announced that they have called off the divorce. Amir thereby confessed that he couldn’t go through with the divorce while Faryal is still pregnant. “We didn’t go through with the divorce because it’s banned in Islam when the girl is pregnant,” he said.

The Bolton native added, “I’ve learned my lesson. It was a wake-up call for us both and it will only make us stronger. I think we will be married forever.”

Amir further stated, “I definitely have more appreciation for my little girl and my wife Faryal, because I wasn’t around them. I was so far away. I missed them like crazy."
