Fishermen: Rally to condemn the murders

Around one dozen rights groups, women activists and labour organizations staged a protest rally outside Sindh Assembly

KARACHI: A joint action committee representating around one dozen rights groups, women activists and labour organizations staged a protest rally to condemn the killing of two leaders of Pakistan Fisherfolk Forum (PFF) on Wednesday. The rally started from outside the Sindh Assembly and culminated in front of the press club. PFF leaders, Abdul Ghani and Haji Abu Bakar, were kidnapped on May 6. They were executed and their bodies were thrown at the Shamspir Island beachside.
