College students stripped naked, tortured by local influential in Gujrat

Victims were abducted after a scuffle broke out between two rival groups in their college

In an inhuman incident, three college students were stripped naked and tortured after being abducted by influential of the area in Gujrat’s Rehmania neighbourhood, Express News reported on Monday.

The victims were subjected to worst kind of humiliation after being made murgha – a punishment in which a person takes a position resembling that of a rooster, by squatting and then looping the arms behind the knees and firmly holding the ears.

The students, identified as Hasnain, Zain and Usama, were abducted after a scuffle broke out between two rival groups in their college.



They were locked in a room and tortured after being stripped naked. The suspects also filmed the whole episode, which has been acquired by the Express News.

A case was lodged after the news broke on the TV channel in the presence of Hasnian’s father. Police have also initiated a search to bring the culprits to book.
