He wrestled with possibilities all his life
KARACHI: Despite suffering debilitating illness, Stephen Hawking’s intellectual brilliance and spirit soared above our earthly understanding of time and space. He epitomised the term differently enabled and never held back. He presented to the layman an interpretation of the universe that perhaps many had never before had the opportunity or ability to contemplate. In doing so, he set the bar for future generations of writers of science and astronomy in particular. As he said once, “If you feel you are trapped in a black hole, don’t give up. There is a way out.” He wrestled with possibilities all his life. A riveting movie was made on his life called the Theory of everything. There should be research on his life and works, as he embarked on a journey of decoding the universe through his exceptional skills.
