Gutted: One killed, five injured in factory fire
Watchman killed and five workers sustain injuries when a fire breaks out in a shoe factory at Jallo Mor

A watchman was killed and five workers sustained injuries when a fire broke out in a shoe factory, located at Rampura stop, Jallo Mor on Friday. On receiving information, Rescue fire service reached the spot along with fire brigade and put out the fire. Raw material and ready products were burnt to ashes in the factory. Police said 50-years-old watchman Latif, a resident of Malipura, suffered burn injuries and later died at a local hospital. Others injured were shifted to Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained immediately. The injured were identified as Rashid, 30, Irfan Elahi 23, Zeeshan 17 and Najeeb 19.
