RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations has contradicted reports that the military is critical of the civilian government’s handling of the situation in the wake of Osama bin Laden’s killing.

The contradiction comes a day after Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani said that an ‘inadequate formal response’ to the operation had dismayed the nation, without clarifying whose reaction he meant, the civilian or the military leadership.
