KARACHI: Champions is the first look from Adil Omar's debut solo album and film Transcendence, stated a press release.

Both the album and film are expected to release in April. In addition to producing the entire record, Adil has also directed the film to accompany it.

Collaborations on Transcendence include Elliphant, Talal Qureshi, punk rock legend Tim Armstrong of Rancid and more.

Futhermore, new material from SNKM - Adill's band with Talal Qureshi - is also expected this summer, as well as the duo's production and songwriting projects for other artists.

Previously, after SNKM’s individual projects, both artists confirmed that there is more to look forward to from SNKM as a band and production/songwriting duo in 2018, following their performance at the Mad Decent Block Party in February.

SNKM last organised American DJ Diplo's concert in Islamabad. Last year it was reported that Pakistani-American duo Krewella was also supposed to perform in Pakistan for the first time. However, concert was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. A separate date for Krewella was to be announced soon.

“Pakistan Krew. Our show in December has been postponed until further notice. We’re SO sorry that we won’t be able to see you this year. Please stay tuned for updates. Shukria! Jahan & Yasmine," wrote the band on their official Twitter handle.
