UN as an international mediatory body has raised its voice on the Kashmir issue
LAHORE: It is not for the first time that the UN as an international mediatory body has raised its voice on the Kashmir issue. During the past decades, numerous resolutions have been passed by the UN in connection with the Kashmir dispute. More recently, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid al Hussein has declared the situation grave in Indian-occupied Kashmir. However, the need of the hour is to seek resolution of the issue through dialogue in order to stop bloodshed in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
