Mutual bond: Pakistan-S Arabia ties stronger than ever: Imam-e-Kaba

Imam-e-Kaba Dr Al-Sheikh Saleh bin Muhammad al-Talib said on Saturday people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have a strong bond of love and religion which was above all relations.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday. Matters of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting. The Imam-e-Kaba praised the chief minister for development projects in Lahore and other parts of the Punjab. He said he was pleased to know that the chief minister was working hard for the welfare and progress of the people. He said his visit to Pakistan was a matter of pleasure for him and the people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have a strong bond of love and religion which was above all relations.

“The strength of Pakistan is the strength of Saudi Arabia and the power of Saudi Arabia is power of Pakistan. Pakistan has a significant place in the Muslim world and Pakistan is playing a vital role for peace and stability in the region.”

Welcoming Imam-e-Kaba on his arrival in Lahore, Shehbaz said Dr Saleh’s visit to Pakistan was a matter of honour for Pakistan. He said the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were above worldly benefit.

Later, while addressing a ceremony at Motorway Police Training College Sheikhpura, the Imam-e-Kaba said Pakistani forces were a source of strength for the whole Muslim world. He said Motorway Police was performing a noble job of protecting the lives people.

“I pray to Allah Almighty to unite us here in this world and hereafter. It is a matter of pride to find myself among people who are honestly working hard. Your job is not a merely a government service but it is Jihad in the way of God,” he said.

“I congratulate you for doing this job and pray that may Allah give you progress and protect you. May Allah protect you as you are working for keeping peace for Muslims,” he added.
