Captain scores unbeaten 45 in Gladiators six-wicket win

Sarfraz Ahmed played a captain's knock as Quetta Gladiators beat Peshawar Zalmi are in the 23rd match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Dubai on Saturday.

After being put into bat first, Zalmi managed to post 157 for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

The star of the show for the defending champions was Dwayne Smith, who scored 49 off 33 with the help of one four and five sixes.

For Gladiators, all-rounder Shane Watson was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed two wickets.

In reply, Gladiators achieved the target with four balls to spare. Sarfraz scored an unbeaten 45 off 31 with the help of six fours.

For Zalmi, Liam Dawson, Umaid Asif, Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz claimed a wicket each.
